Supporting My Studies at the Royal College of Music
In September 2026, I will begin a two-year Master's degree in Composition at the Royal College of Music in London, one of the world's leading conservatoires. The annual tuition fee is £14,876, and I am actively seeking the support of sponsors and donors to help make this possible.
I am grateful to have already secured some funding towards my first year:
Irish Heritage Composition Bursary - £1,500
Creative Ireland / Music Generation Louth Commission - £1,000
University College Cork - £2,600 (anticipated)
I am also applying for a UK Postgraduate Masters Loan, which will contribute towards living costs in London.
Any contribution towards tuition fees, large or small, would make a genuine difference and would be deeply appreciated.
Why support me?
I recently graduated from UCC with first-class honours in Music and Irish, where I held two Quercus Creative & Performing Arts Scholarships. I am a 4-time All-Ireland Champion at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, a recipient of the 2026 Irish Heritage Composition Bursary, and 1st prize winner of the Seán Ó Riada Composition Competition 2025. I have also had competition success at the West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival, The New Ross Piano Festival, and have received funding from Culture Moves Europe.
I am committed to developing as a composer, and am confident the RCM will be a transformative opportunity to grow as a composer and push my work in new directions.
